Verdi Food is happy and proud to present the founders of the company. The team of three talented professionals have joined forces to bring personalised nutrition to live.
The visionary founder is Jochem Bossenbroek MSc. MBA. Through his experience as co-founder and partner at ttopstart BV - active in the life sciences sector - he got inspired by the growing body of research showing the role of nutrition for health. Suprised that so little is done in society and healthcare with this large evidence base - he got strongly committed to take up the challenge of reconnection people with real food by setting up a personalised food service.
Sandrin Bergheanu MD, PhD and Jochem got acquinted years before and were both investors in the company RESQ Life. Sandrin is a medical doctor by training and after various functions in pharmaceutical companies started his clinical research venture InterEuropa. When Sandrin heard about this new food undertaking he realised that personalised nutrition can make a big change in healthcare - he just had to be part of this team. His extensive medical background, suprising creativity and eye for detail make him a great asset for the company.
In their search for a specialist in nutrition, Sandrin recommended Bernadette Dijkhuizen BA. Bernadette is independent nutritional therapist and mindfulness instructor with an international client base. Jochem was directly blown away by her wonderful ideas for the nutritional approach of the company and for implementing health-focussed diet programmes. Plus, Bernadette brings in marketing and social media expertise that she gained in various previous functions. Luckily Bernadette was more than interested to take up the position of Nutrition Director.
