This month Verdi Food has been accepted into the StartLife Programme. StartLife - located at the premises of Wageningen University - stimulates entrepreneurship and supports startups in the Agri & Food sectors. The program also offers access to funding.
Verdi Food is now part of the thriving StartLife community that consists of more than 170 startups. StartLife supports entrepreneurs and their teams as they develop innovative business ideas into global enterprises with a lasting impact. To fund initial business activities, StartLife has provided Verdi Food with a pre-seed loan.
In addition to the loan, Verdi Food has the opportunity to receive support from a senior professional from StartLife.
Jochem Bossenbroek, CEO of Verdi Food: "We are happy to join this excellent programme and get access to a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Food & Nutrition. Ultimately we aspire that Verdi Food lets customers throughout Europe benefit from the latest scientific advances on their plate – every day. Joining StartLife is a clear milestone on our path to realising our ambition."
